Elderly Man Evicted From Rehab Facility Left In Cold Rain: Report

The action of Charlotte Health and Rehabilitation Center should be further investigated. It is totally inhumane to abruptly ask an old man to leave their facility on a cold rainy day. Even when the insurance company has signified that they will no longer pay the nursing services, the few more hours to stay within the facility will not cause them so much money. They could have at least allowed him to wait in the lounge while waiting for his transportation to bring him home safely. No one can blame the daughter if she files a law suit against the management. We are just relieved that nothing serious happened to the man. Otherwise, the facility must be completely responsible for it.
